The Flint Police Department’s mission is to enforce the laws of the City of Flint, State of Michigan, and United States of America with the goal of enhancing the safety and security of people who live, work, and visit the City of Flint and their property.

Acting in partnership with our community to protect life and property, we strive to prevent crime and preserve peace, order and safety. We will seek just solutions with honesty and integrity. We encourage, need, and expect community involvement to work toward a mutual goal of enhancing the quality of life within our city.
