The Office of Blight Elimination & Neighborhood Stabilization welcomes help from community members and community organizations to keep our neighborhoods beautiful! We work with partner organizations including the Neighborhood Engagement Hub and Keep Genesee County Beautiful to offer assistance—at no cost to you. Please call us at (810) 237-2090 at least two weeks prior to your cleanup.

How Can I Help Fight Blight?

  • Call to report blight in your neighborhood
  • Volunteer to help our crew at a cleanup site
  • Organize your own team of volunteers for a cleanup
  • Call 911 immediately if you see someone illegally dumping

The Genesee County Land Bank partners with community groups to maintain vacant lots through the Clean & Green program. For more information, visit thelandbank.org by visiting the website below or calling the land bank. Applications are due each spring.
