City of Flint Public Safety

The City of Flint’s public safety services consist of the Police Department, the Fire Department and the 911 Operations Center.  All three are on duty 24 hours a day, seven days week, 365 days a year. Public safety is a top priority in Flint, and all of our Police, Fire and 911 personnel are committed to providing the highest quality level of service to ensure the safety and well-being of all residents, businesses and visitors of the city. Our Police and Fire departments work side by side with neighborhood groups, religious organizations and other citizen volunteers within the community to foster trust, accountability and a sense of shared responsibility in meeting this goal.
