Charter Review Commission — Commissioner Vacancy

A vacancy currently exists on the Flint City Charter Review Commission. Flint residents interested in applying for the position, please note the following:

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:

Will serve on Flint’s Charter Review Commission with all the duties and responsibilities of a Charter Review Commissioner. Duties shall include, but are not limited to: research of Flint’s current Charter, attending Charter Commission meetings and subcommittee meetings, and proposing and voting on amendments and revisions to the Charter.

MINIMUM ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS:

A. Registered voter in the City of Flint

B. Resident of the City of Flint for the previous three (3) years

C. No City of Flint officer or employee, whether elected or appointed, is eligible for a spot on the Commission.
