Mayor Neeley to host ‘Egg-straordinary Candy Giveaway’ for Flint families Thursday, April 1, 2021

FLINT, Michigan — Flint Families are invited to celebrate the season by joining Mayor Sheldon Neeley for an “Egg-straordinary Candy Giveaway” from 3 to 5 p.m. Thursday, April 1, 2021, at Flint City Hall. The event will offer both a drive-through and walk-up option for families.

As part of Mayor Neeley’s COVID-safe celebration of spring, children will receive bags of candy and a toothbrush, while supplies last, and have the opportunity to take a picture with Hopper the Bunny.

“Our celebrations continue to look a little different, but we wanted to continue to provide a fun and safe way for families to celebrate the season,” Mayor Neeley said.

Mayor Neeley encourages all households to use the utmost caution and make decisions in the best interest of their families. All guests should wear face masks and maintain 6-foot social distances from everyone except those in their immediate household.
