Water service temporarily disrupted in south Flint on January 7, 2021

*** Update: Repairs were completed shortly before 7 p.m. today

FLINT, Michigan—The City of Flint was doing regular maintenance of the water system when a valve broke, forcing the City workers to temporarily shut off water in the area of Atherton Road today, Jan. 7, 2021. Workers are on the scene and continue working to restore water to the area as soon as possible.
