
FLINT, Michigan—Mayor Sheldon Neeley will deliver his first State of the City at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2020. The State of the City will be broadcast on NBC Channel 25, social media, public access and during a special City Council meeting.
The start time for the City Council meeting is 6:50 p.m. During the State of the City, Mayor Neeley will highlight some of the accomplishments of his first year in office and outline what’s next for Flint.
Because of COVID-19, this will be a unique State of the City address so that it can be as accessible as possible to residents. The State of the City will be televised during a special 30-minute broadcast on NBC 25 and Mayor Neeley will personally present it to the City Council during its meeting.
