Details: October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. To help raise awareness and remember all the lives and families touched by the disease, City of Flint firefighters will gather at Fire Station #1 Monday, October 24. The event is being held in honor of Mrs. Alicia McLain-Holland, mother of Sgt. Frank McLain of the Flint Fire Department, and all others who have lost the battle with cancer and to show support for their loved ones.
