The City of Flint, in partnership with Flint Neighborhoods United and the Flint Public Library, will be holding a second Public Safety Town Hall Meeting on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 from 6:00-7:30pm. This free and open event will be held at the Flint Public Library’s Main Branch and will feature an open panel discussion with elected officials, law enforcement officials and service agencies in the community.

The goal of the meeting will be to develop a plan of action for addressing quality of life concerns by determining community safety objectives through questions and discussion with participants. Information on community volunteer opportunities such as the Blue Badge Corps. will also be shared. Questions can be submitted before the event by email to [email protected] and can also be submitted in writing at the door and the discussion will be moderated. The last such town hall meeting was held January 20 and saw good attendance. In that meeting, questions ranging from issues of blight and neighborhood nuisances to reporting on major crimes were answered by the panel.
