Free Lead Abatement Supervisor Training to be Held in March

FLINT, Mich. – The Office of Lead-based Paint Hazard Control is offering lead abatement supervisor training beginning on March 16, 2026. The free four-day course will provide comprehensive skills to perform lead abatement work throughout the state.
Individuals must be 18 years of age or older and have at least two years of construction experience to apply. Those interested in receiving training can register by visiting our LBPHC page. Registration is required. The deadline for registration is Friday, February 27, 2026.
This lead training is being offered through a partnership with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS).Training is offered free to individuals who have not yet received sponsored training.
