Flint ReCAST Mini-Grant Program now accepting proposals for 2026

FLINT, Mich. – The Flint ReCAST Mini-Grant Program is now accepting proposals for 2026!
Flint ReCAST (Resiliency in Communities After Stress and Trauma) is dedicated to supporting youth-serving programs that promote resilience, equity, and trauma-informed practices within our community. If you have a program that empowers Flint youth and families, this is your chance to secure funding!
Grant Amounts: $5,000 – $25,000
Application Opens: Friday, January 30, 2026
Deadline to Apply: Friday, February 27, 2026 at 3:00 p.m.
Funding Period: April 1, 2026 to September 30, 2026
Eligible Programs Must Align With One of These Goals:
Goal 1: Youth Engagement & Positive Development (e.g., mental health promotion, career development, peer support)
Goal 2: Trauma-Informed & Behavioral Health Services (e.g., resiliency training, mental health literacy, self-care awareness)
🏛 Who Can Apply?
Nonprofits (501(c)(3))
Government agencies & academic institutions
Community-based organizations with a fiscal sponsor
What’s NOT Funded?
Religious activities, lobbying, capital projects
Food, snacks, refreshments
Loans, debt reduction
