FLINT, Mich. – Flint City Hall will be closed in observance of the Fourth of July holiday on Friday, July 4, 2025. The Clio Road Service Center, located at 4805 Clio Road (next to Hallwood Plaza) will also be closed. Waste collection for Friday, July 4 will take place on Saturday, July 5.
The Flint Downtown Development Authority will be putting on a fireworks show for the holiday on Friday, July 4. Fireworks will launch from Chevy Commons with visibility for spectators throughout the downtown Flint area. The fireworks will begin at dusk. Special event curfew for minors under 17 years of age will be in effect for the downtown festival.
The Flint Institute of Music will also be hosting the 10th Annual Water Festival in the Downtown Flat Lot located at 125 E. Kearsley Street. The festival will be held July 4, 2025 from 7:00 – 10:30 pm. More information on the Water Festival can be found here.
