Drop Boxes May Be Used for Absentee Ballots

Posted by:

A reminder to City of Flint voters who choose not to mail in their completed absentee ballots or submit them directly to the City Clerk’s office during regular business hours: they may drop their absentee ballots in one of the city’s drop boxes.

The city maintains a drop box in front of Flint City Hall for secure absentee ballot drop-off with 24-hour access and security.

In addition, four drop boxes are located in each of the city’s four corners and are staffed with City of Flint Election inspectors.

These drop boxes will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, July 31. In addition, the drop boxes will be staffed from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 1; Sunday, Aug. 2; and Monday, Aug. 3.

The boxes are at the following locations:

  1. Northside: Berston Field House, 3300 N. Saginaw Street;
  2. Southside: Word of Life Ministries, 460 W. Atherton Road;
  3. Eastside: Mince Manor, 3820 Richfield Road, in the lobby; and
  4. Westside: West Court Street United Methodist Church, 2920 W. Court Street.

For additional information about this matter or the August 4 Election in general, please contact the Flint City Clerk’s Office at (810) 766-7414.
