Youth Summer Job Fair Connects Young People with Employment & Career Opportunities

The City of Flint invites local youth and young adults to attend the Youth Summer Job Fair on Monday, June 15, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Mays Senior & Community Center, located at 1002 W. Home Ave.

The event is designed to connect young people with employers, workforce development organizations, training programs, and community resources that can help them build valuable job skills and explore future career pathways.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet directly with employers, learn about available summer employment opportunities, discover job training programs, and access resources that support long-term career success.

The Youth Summer Job Fair is part of the City of Flint’s ongoing efforts to create positive opportunities for young people while strengthening community safety and economic mobility. By connecting youth to meaningful employment, mentorship, and workforce development resources, the City continues to invest in strategies that help reduce violence and create brighter futures.

“Providing pathways to employment is one of the most effective ways we can support our young people,” said Mayor Sheldon Neeley. “When youth have access to jobs, skills training, and positive opportunities, they are better equipped to achieve their goals and contribute to a stronger Flint.”

This event is free and open to all interested Flint youth and young adults.
