Traffic Advisory: Western Road from Richfield Rd. to Layton Blvd. Shutdown Feb. 21st. 8am-4pm

Flint, Michigan– City of Flint DPW Director announced that a a portion of Richfield Rd will be shut down on Thursday for work on the Kearsley Dam Lift Gate.

“We will be shutting down Western Road from Richfield Rd. to Layton Blvd. in order to allow the contractor to setup a crane to replace the refurbish south Kearsley Dam Lift Gate. We expect the shutdown to last most of the day from 8am to 4pm if there are not any unforeseen delays. ” -Rob Bincsik, DPW Director

The road is only expected to be closed on Thursday until 4pm and will re-open in the evening.
