The Flint Fire Department’s Camp Fire Summer Youth Camp Participates in the Meet Up and Eat Up Summer Food Service Program

 

DATES:                                  JUNE 17-21, 2019 and JUNE 24-28, 2019

 

LOCATION:                         FLINT FIRE DEPARTMENT FIRE STATION #1

                                                310 E. FIFTH ST. FLINT, MI 48502

 

TIMES:                                  BREAKFAST – 8:30 A.M. TO 9:00 A.M.

                                                LUNCH – 12:30 P.M. TO 1:30 P.M.

                                 

PARTICIPANTS:                 Children 18 years and under

                                            Disabled persons, under 26 years old   

(Disabled is determined by MDE and participates in school program)

 

The Flint Fire Department is pleased to announce the Meet Up and Eat Up Summer Food Service Program at our Camp Fire Summer Youth Camp. Breakfast and lunch will be provided at the designated location and times, listed above.  The Food Bank of Eastern Michigan will be working in partnership with Camp Fire Summer Youth Camp at our site held at Flint Fire Station 1, 310 E. Fifth St. Flint, MI  48502.

The Summer Food Service Program is for children only.  Per the Michigan Department of Education (MDE), children must be 18 years and under.  Disabled persons, under 26 years old, who are determined by MDE to be mentally or physically disabled and participate in a school program, are welcome to attend.

The Meet Up and Eat Up Summer Food Service Program is funded by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and administered by the Michigan Department of Education (MDE), Office of Health and Nutrition Services.  (Michigan.gov/mde)
