Mayor Welcomes David Sabuda as Flint’s Interim CFO

July 7, 2016 (Flint, Mich) — Mayor Karen Weaver, City of Flint officials and staff welcomed David Sabuda this week as the City’s interim Chief Financial Officer. Sabuda has taken over the position left vacant last month after the resignation of Jody Lundquist.
Sabuda comes to Flint after serving as Finance Director/Treasurer for the City of Berkley, Michigan. He is familiar with Flint and the financial challenges the City is working to emerge from. Sabuda brings with him over three decades of experience working in government finance on both the state and local levels. He feels his knowledge and extensive experience will be an asset to the City of Flint and its bottom line.
