Mayor Neeley’s first Conversations in the Courtyard addresses resident concerns; Additional meeting times are available

FLINT, Michigan—Mayor Sheldon Neeley met with residents today during his first Conversations in the Courtyard and discussed a variety of issues such as blight elimination, ongoing road construction, and sidewalk repairs.

Residents interested in meeting with Mayor Neeley can continue to call (810) 766-7346 to make an appointment.

Mayor Neeley was joined by city staff and department heads to help get on-the-spot resolutions to resident concerns whenever possible.

“Today was a good day and I look forward to more of these sessions in the future. I very much appreciated these residents’ willingness to take time out of their day to come speak with me. Their commitment and determination help make the community a better place for all of us,” Mayor Neeley said. “It is an honor to serve the residents of the City of Flint.”

Conversations in the Courtyard events are a new variation of Mayor Neeley’s typical office hours with residents, but include some modifications to follow COVID-19 safety protocols.
