Mayor Neeley to deliver 2023 State of the City address Dec. 12

Flint Mayor Sheldon Neeley is set to deliver his fourth State of the City address at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 12 at the Capitol Theatre in downtown Flint.

From critical infrastructure improvements to the economic development landscape and new opportunities for the community, Mayor Neeley will share insights into the city’s achievements over the past year and what’s to come in 2024.

Attendees can expect to hear about upcoming projects, community engagement initiatives, and innovative strategies aimed at fostering growth and enhancing the quality of life for Flint residents.

Flint community members are welcome to attend this free event. The Capitol Theatre seats 2,000 people and tickets are first-come, first-served at the door. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. Simultaneous Spanish and American Sign Language interpretation will be available.
