Flint prepares for fun and safe Halloween events

Kids can stop by City Hall for candy bags from 3:30-5 p.m. on Halloween

FLINT, Mich.— October 28, 2022

Families can trick-or-treat on Halloween in the City of Flint Monday, October 31, 2022, from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Many trunk-or-treats will take place around the city this weekend and on Halloween, Monday, Oct. 31. We’ve compiled a list of events below to help residents plan their Halloween fun.

As always, families are encouraged to take safety precautions while trick-or-treating. Residents are encouraged to avoid driving in neighborhoods during trick-or-treating hours if possible.

“It’s important for Flint families to have safe places to trick-or-treat,” Mayor Neeley said. “Halloween has traditionally been a time for neighbors to come together to provide a fun experience for our children. We want to make sure that continues, whether it’s in a traditional neighborhood setting or at other gatherings where residents can be in community.”
