Flint Mayor Sheldon Neeley: “A time of healing and a time of uniting”

A memorial candlelight vigil for Flint City Councilman Eric Mays will take place in front of Flint City Hall, Saturday, March 2 at 6 p.m. Flint Mayor Sheldon Neeley encourages this time of healing and uniting our community as we mourn the loss of Councilman Mays.

“A voice like Councilman Mays’ can never be replaced,” Mayor Neeley said. “In this moment when many are grieving the loss of Councilman Mays, who meant so much to them, I send my deepest condolences in the spirit of uniting our community. We ask the community to continue to lift Councilman Mays’ family in prayer.”
