Customer Service Center Division
Apart of the Finance Department of the City of Flint, the Customer Service department is responsible for the billing and collection of property taxes, city income tax, water and sewer bills, and all other city bills.
This includes the reconciliation, investing and reporting of all monies received. This requires extensive knowledge of state laws, local ordinances, generally accepted accounting principles, generally accepted auditing standards, as well as the evaluation and implementation of the best available computer software and hardware.
