Due Date Extended for Property Tax Bills

FLINT, Mich. — The City of Flint experienced a delay in the approval of the budget for Fiscal Year 2016-2017.  Due to this delay, 2017 summer property tax bills will be mailed to Flint residents two weeks later than usual. To accommodate for the schedule change and provide affected customers with additional time to submit their payment, City officials will provide a 15 day grace period to extend the due date of the first installment of the balance due from July 31, to August 15, 2017. This revised date will be noted on the tax bill residents receive.

Officials hope this extension is adequate and compensates for any inconvenience to residents.  Customers can view their account information, obtain billing amount due, and submit payments online at www.cityofflint.com\propertyservices. Customers seeking additional may call the Flint Customer Service Center at (810) 766-7015.
