DPW Director Howard Croft Statement on Snow

The City of Flint’s Director of the Department of Public Works issued the following statement on the snow management activity for the period of the snow event:

Flint City crews have been out since early Sunday morning. Residents are reminded to remove cars from the streets to make it easier for plow drivers to clear the roadways. City crews will be focusing on keeping major routes passable until the storm subsides. As the storm winds down tomorrow the road crews will complete work on major roads and then will begin clearing residential routes.

All drivers are advised to use caution if out traveling this evening and early tomorrow morning. Please do not crowd plows and salt trucks; give them room to work.
