FLINT, Mich. – In response to high temperatures forecasted for this weekend and early next week, the City of Flint is activating Cooling Stations from Saturday, June 21 through Wednesday, June 25, 2025, to ensure residents have safe, accessible places to stay cool.
Cooling Station Locations (Open Daily from 10AM – 6PM Unless Otherwise Noted):
These stations are free and open to the public. Each location will offer air-conditioned space, cold water, restrooms, and seating for anyone in need.
“As temperatures rise, so must our sense of responsibility for one another,” said Mayor Sheldon Neeley. “Extreme heat can be dangerous—especially for our seniors and our most vulnerable. These stations provide more than relief; they reflect how we care for one another in times of need. I encourage residents to use these resources and to check on their neighbors, friends, and loved ones during this period of high heat”.
