City Officials to Hold Grand Re-Opening of Fire Station #8

WHAT:        Grand Re-Opening of Fire Station #8

WHEN:        Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at 12:00 p.m.

WHERE:      Fire Station #8 202 E. Atherton Rd. Flint

DETAILS:    City of Flint officials are pleased to announce that Flint Fire Station #8 will officially re-open this month. The department is able to re-open the station after being awarded grants, including the Staffing for Adequate Fire & Emergency Response (SAFER) grant, to hire additional staff and purchase equipment. Members of the Flint community are invited to tour Fire Station #8, Tuesday, August 29, and have lunch with Flint firefighters. Children can also tour the Fire Safety House.
