FLINT, MI — The City of Flint will close City Hall on Monday, May 26, 2025, in observance of Memorial Day. City offices will reopen with regular business hours on Tuesday, May 27, 2025.
Memorial Day is a time to honor and remember the courageous service members who gave their lives in defense of our country. The City encourages all residents to reflect on their sacrifice and participate in local commemorative events.
Essential services such as police, fire, and critical infrastructure operations will remain available during the closure.
Waste Collection Reminder:
The week of Memorial Day, Priority Waste trash, compost, and recycling collection will be delayed by one day due to the holiday. The normal collection schedule will resume the following week.
