Administration Moves Forward Despite Council Inaction
FLINT, MI — As part of Mayor Sheldon Neeley’s Safe & Clean Summer Initiative, the City of Flint is hosting a youth job application event on Thursday, June 12, from 4:30 to 6:30 PM. at the Clio Road Service Center (corner of Clio Rd. and Pierson Rd., inside Hallwood Plaza).
Flint students aged 15 to 19 are encouraged to attend and apply for paid summer jobs. These opportunities provide young people with a chance to earn income, gain valuable skills, and make a positive impact in their communities.
Despite Flint City Council’s failure to act, the administration is moving forward to deliver a safe and productive summer for Flint youth. We will not allow inaction to delay opportunity.
City staff will be on-site to assist students with applications and answer questions about the program. For more information about the event, call 810-410-2020.
