Tire Buyback event for Flint residents on Saturday, June 27

The City of Flint is partnering with Environmental Rubber Recycling to host a Tire Buyback event on Saturday, June 27 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.  The event will take place at Environmental Rubber Recycling  at 6515 N Dort Hwy in Flint.

Flint residents are encouraged to bring old tires from around the city for disposal. Any Flint resident can bring up to 25 tires for payment of $1 per tire for a maximum of $25. Flint residents must be able to provide proof of residency in order to receive payment. 

Only auto and light truck tires will be accepted. No commercial or agricultural tires will be accepted. All tires must be off the rim. The event is for non-commercial residents only. Commercial vehicles and box trucks are prohibited.
