Mayor Neeley offers full support to city clerk in advance of elections

FLINT, Michigan—Flint Mayor Sheldon Neeley said he is continuing to work with City Clerk Inez Brown to ensure she has the full support and resources necessary to conduct the upcoming elections. 

The City Clerk oversees all elections in the City of Flint. The office operates independently and under the purview of the Flint City Council. 

“We have offered our full support to Clerk Inez Brown to provide any and all resources, space or equipment needed to conduct the upcoming election. We respect the clerk’s role in planning and organizing the election, but remain willing to support on behalf of all residents of Flint,” Mayor Neeley said.
