SUBJECT: SANITARY SEWER OVERFLOW

On June 8, 2022 around 9:30 am, the City of Flint Sanitary Sewage Collection System overflowed sanitary sewage from a sanitary sewer manhole onto the ground in Swartz Creek Golf Course. Around 40 gallons of raw sewage spilled onto ground and the discharge ended around 10:00 am. This discharge was due to the sanitary sewer being plugged from a grease and rag build up.
