The United States Environmental Protection Agency’s January 21, 2016 Emergency Order, and the November 2016 First Amendment, requires the City of Flint and Michigan Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) to create and maintain a publically available website, where all data, reports and documents under the Order are posted. This website, http://www.michigan.gov/flintwater, will continue to be maintained and contains:
– Written responses to USEPA and EPA’s Flint Technical Support Team
– Water quality parameter measurements in the distribution system
– Lead and copper sampling results
– Distribution system water quality optimization plan (to be completed in February, 2018)
– Standard Operating Procedures (as they are finalized in January, 2018)
– Other information for the residents of Flint

The City of Flint Department of Utilities is taking steps to provide the public lead and copper monitoring data and supporting documents. The information contains data from sampling for compliance with the Lead and Copper Rule.  By providing this information we hope to improve public access and transparency of operations.
