Staff is no longer taking location eligibility inquiries via phone. For location eligibility inquiries, please complete and submit the Location Confirmation Form. This requires a $50 payment, per parcel. Staff will then follow-up with the request by indicating the parcel’s eligibility.

‣ Annual Marihuana re-licensure is a lengthy process requiring inspections from Police, Fire and Building and Safety Inspections. Re-licensure applicants are encouraged to begin this process 2-3 months prior to license expiration.
‣ Each Annual License Fee: $5,000.00 per license type; Non-refundable Application fee: $500.00

Allocation of Licenses:
Provisioning Centers: No cap
Secure Transporters: 5
Safety Compliance Facilities: 5
Growing Centers: No cap
Processing Centers: No cap
Group “E” (Provisioning Center) Zoning and Locational Standards:
“D-5”, “D-6”, “E”, “F”, “G” zoning districts
No more than four (4) Group A (adult entertainment) and Group E (provisioning centers) uses within 2,000 feet
Facility cannot be within 1,000 feet of a pre-K through 12 school
Facility cannot be within 500 feet of a dedicated public park or place of worship
Facility cannot be within 300 feet of a residential zoning district (“A”, “B”, “C” zoning districts)
Group “F” and “G” (Growing, Processing, Secure Transport, Safety Compliance) Zoning and Locational Standards:
“E”, “F”, “G” zoning districts
Facility cannot be within 1,000 feet of a pre-K through 12 school
Facility cannot be within 500 feet of a dedicated public park or place of worship
Facility cannot be within 300 feet of a residential zoning district (“A”, “B”, “C” zoning districts)
Square Footage Requirements for a Growing Center:
Class A Grower – Structure must be a minimum 2,000 square feet
Class B Grower – Structure must be a minimum 5,000 square feet
Class C Grower – Structure must be a minimum 8,000 square feet
If co-located with a provisioning center, structure must be a minimum 9,000 square feet.
Square Footage Requirements for a Processing Center:
Structure must be a minimum 3,000 square feet.
If co-located with a provisioning center, structure must be a minimum 9,000 square feet.
