Water Credit Refund Request

The Water Refund Request form below should be completed if all the following apply:

  1. You had an active water account with the City of Flint at any time during the period May 1, 2014 through March 31, 2016, or you are the designated representative for a company with an active account during that period; and
  2. The water account you had during that time has been closed; and
  3. There is not a balance due on your water account and you have a credit.

City personnel will review your request and verify eligibility. Eligible applicants will be sent additional information and forms by mail, and will need to return those forms and supporting documentation to the City Customer Service Center. Reviews will be conducted on a first-come, first-served basis and may take up to 8 weeks or more. Any refunds to which you may be entitled will be first applied against any financial obligations owed to the City of Flint.
