City Hall & PODS Close Early Friday, City-wide Basketball Canceled Saturday Due to Inclement Weather

(February 9, 2018) Flint, Mich. – Please be advised that due to the Winter Weather Advisory in effect for Genesee County, the Flint Municipal Center (City Hall) will be closed early today Friday, February 9, 2018. The building will be closed to the public after 2:00 p.m. City Hall is expected to reopen Monday, February 12, 2018 at 8:00 a.m.

Furthermore, the Water Distribution Sites (known as PODs), located around the City of Flint will also close early today due to the winter weather conditions. The PODs will close today at 3:00 p.m.

Due to the weather, basketball games with Flint’s City-wide Basketball League will not take place Saturday, February 10, 2018. League play will resume Saturday, February 17, 2018 at the regularly scheduled time. Have a safe weekend.
