Flint City Officials Host Radio Town Halls Focused on Health

WHO:                   Flint Mayor Karen Weaver and Chief Public Health Advisor Dr. Pamela Pugh

WHAT:                 Radio Town Halls/Community Conversations on WFLT 1420 AM

DETAILS:             Flint Mayor Karen Weaver and Chief Public Health Advisor Dr. Pamela Pugh will host a series of radio “town halls” on WFLT 1420 AM in Flint, MI.  During the segments, Dr. Weaver and Dr. Pugh will speak with various experts to provide information and answer questions on health-related topics of interest and importance pertaining to Flint residents.  Residents are invited to listen in during the following times and may call (810) 239-5733 to speak with the hosts and experts and ask questions on the following topics:

Tuesday, May 2                      12:00 p.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Topic:                    Efforts underway to advise and provide recommendations to City officials on ways to better protect public health.
Expert Guest:       Peter Levine, Dr. Laura Carravallah and Dr. Lawrence Reynolds, Members of Genesee County Medical Society (GCMS) and the City of Flint Technical Advisory Board

Topic:                    The Flint registry for the long-term tracking of residents exposed to Flint water during the height of the crisis, and other community/clinical programs, policies, and evaluations underway
