The training involves the use of training simunitions and helicopters. Sounds associated with the training may be heard in the areas of the exercises. The Flint Police Department is aware of the training and will contact residents in the immediate area where training will occur. Residents should not be alarmed if they see any of this activity as precautions for public safety have been taken by both the military and the FPD.

The U.S. military sincerely appreciates the cooperation of the citizens and local businesses in the vicinity of this training and apologizes for any disturbances. More information on the exercises will be posted here on the City’s website and on the FPD Facebook pagehttps://www.facebook.com/flintpolicedept as it becomes available.
