The City of Flint’s curbside yard waste removal will resume beginning Monday, April 6, 2015.  Residents with yard waste are asked to have it set curbside in approved waste cans weighing less than 50 lbs. or in approved brown paper yard waste bags, 10 ft. apart from regular waste, by 7am on their normal garbage day.  Branches and twigs no larger than 2 inches in diameter and no longer than 4 feet long must be bundled/tied together and cannot exceed 50 lbs. per bag or bundle. There is a limit of 10 brush bundles per week and no tree trunks or stumps will be accepted curbside.

Pursuant to state statute, Republic Services will not collect yard waste mixed with garbage at any time. For more information on yard waste collection guidelines, residents can contact Republic Services at 1-800-438-0966 or visit the Sanitation page of the City’s website.
