|CITY OF FLINT POSTS JOB POSITIONS TO BEGIN THE PROCESS|
Flint Michigan — November 29, 2012— Flint has begun the process of hiring new police officers by posting the job positions today. The positions are within the Flint Police Officer Association (FPOA) collective bargaining unit and are open to State of Michigan law enforcement officer certified or certifiable candidates. The City is looking to fill ten to twelve officer positions which are the first to be posted as a result of the passage of the|
Police and Fire Protection millage. The millage will appear on the December tax roll.
Application packets can be obtained at the City of Flint Human Resources and Labor Relations Office located at Flint Municipal Center, 1101 S. Saginaw St., Flint, Room 9. In order to obtain an application packet, applicants must present a valid driver’s license and proof of certification in person. Applicants must have application packets returned to the City of Flint Office of Human Resources and Labor Relations by 4:00pm, Wednesday, December 12, 2012.
