Chevy In The Hole Update and Media Tour
The Chevy in the Hole
Project team will be hosting a construction update and media tour of the
remediation and redevelopment activities being conducted at the site.
Participants who will be available for comment include: Dayne Walling, Mayor;
Steve Montle, Project Manager; Joel Parker, Project Designer and Engineer; Bart
Sexton, Construction Manager.

White House Honors Individual from Flint as Champion of Change
Information below from the White House on City
of Flint and Center for Community Progress work on brownfield redevelopment,
including the Chevy in the Hole greening project, being honored by the White
House today with recognition to Steve Montle as a Champion for Change.
Mayor Walling statement: "Flint is transforming
into a sustainable 21st Century city. You can see the progress at the former
Chevy in the Hole site thanks to Steve Montle's leadership and perseverance.
It is vital that we clean up our brownfields and make them valuable again
for our neighborhoods and businesses. It is encouraging to see Flint
