College students viewed the Cultural Center as being very developed with great opportunities for students;

Riverbank park was listed as both asset and opportunity. The students would like for it to be cleaner and better maintained;

This group spoke highly of the downtown development and would like to see more stores added;

The group also said downtown restaurants have good food and offer many entertainment opportunities;

They would like to see a movie theater in downtown Flint

The youth would like to work with teachers and employees of Flint Schools to make schools more pleasant as a place to learn;

The Boys and Girls Club was viewed as a positive place kids to keep them out of trouble;

Youth wanted to see and increase in safety in schools with more metal detectors;

This group wanted more youth programs to create cultural awareness

The youth viewed police as an asset because they help cut down on crime and protect everyone;

This group also found value in the Flint Public Library as a place to get up to date information
