Mission of the Legal Department

The Law Office provides legal counsel, training and representation for the City and its officials;
prepares or reviews all legal documents and proceedings affecting the City; reviews and responds
to all requests for information under the Freedom of Information Act; serves as the prosecutor on all
traffic tickets and misdemeanor charges issued for violation of the City ordinances.
