This
program is designed to focus not
just on Fair Housing practices, but
landlord/tenant rights and
responsibilities as well. Request
and complaints in housing practices
are settled through conciliation and
mediation, as our enforcement rights
have been pre-empted by the State
Attorney General.
We also provide ongoing technical assistance to Apartment Complexes and residents by disseminating information regarding the rights and responsibilities of landlords and tenants through workshops, incentives and self motivational seminars, which results in more constructive interaction between the housing system and the people it serves.
