The Flint Fire Department will be 150 years Old Next Year

Firefighters Historical Society is offering shirts emblazoned with
an illustration showing the old Station No. 2 on King Avenue and two
former Flint firetrucks. The Fire Firefighters Historical Society is
working with the Sesquicentennial Commission because the fire
department will also be 150 years old next year.
The shirts are
$20 and are available at the firefighters union hall, 612 Stevens
St., from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. weekdays. The firefighters have another
shirt with the years 1855 and 2005 on it, for $15. Details: (810)
