AUCTIONS

On a regular basis the City of Flint holds auctions of city vehicles, equipment and unclaimed vehicles that have been impounded and held at the city's Vehicle Impound Lot - TWO LOCATIONS
Impound Lot - 2712 N. Saginaw St. (between Taylor and Dartmouth) and 2015 Branch Rd. - parallel parking on Dartmouth between Saginaw and North St. is available.

AUCTIONS BEGIN: 10:00 AM at 2712 N. Saginaw
Vehicle viewing and pre-registration begins after 9:00 AM

Auction Rules

  • Bidders must possess a valid driver license.

  • No one under the age of 18 is permitted in the impound lot.

  • Each bidder must have $120 cash in order to get
    a bidders number and to get on the lot. If the bidder does not bid on anything they will get their money back immediately. If they are the successful bidder on a vehicle, the $120 will go towards the purchase price.

  • No one shall enter the vehicles, open doors or otherwise physically handle any vehicles.

  • Cash or cashiers checks accepted.

  • Payment and vehicle pickup required by 5 pm on the Thursday following the auction. Failure to do so will result in permanent exclusion from future auctions.
