Function
Administrative Accounting monitors, tracks, and reports funds
received and expended by the department. The division processes Metro
Act applications to grant or deny access to the City’s right-of-way. The
division reviews and processes requisitions, contracts and purchase
orders for accounting purposes. Supervises and supports the
administrative staff of the various Transportation divisions.

Management Council Road Survey -
Beginning in 2003, GLS Region V staff along with
representatives of the Genesee County Road Commission (GCRC) and
the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) assessed the
condition of Genesee County federal aid eligible roads using the
PASER road rating system as requested by the State of Michigan
Asset Management Council.
