Basic Recruit Sessions

Our next Academy session is scheduled to start on Feb. 22, 2010, and will be held at the Flint Regional Police

Training Academy building, 3420 St. John Street, Flint, Michigan. Training is conducted Monday through Friday with classes begin g promptly at 7:00 a.m. Each academy session is seventeen (17) weeks in duration.  Tuition is $5000 and is recognized by Michigan Works.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Class Schedule

Training is conducted Monday - Friday with classes beginning promptly at 7 a.m.  Each Academy session features many additions to the required mandated curriculum; some of these include:

• Range 2000 Firearms Simulator
• Preliminary Breath Test operation ( P.B.T.)
• LEIN Certification Training
• Radar Operation Certification
• Standardized Field Sobriety Testing ( 24 hrs.)
