FLINT POLICE IDENTIFY "PERSON OF INTEREST" IN THE HOMICIDE DEATH OF PROMINENT FLINT ATTORNEY C. FREDERICK ROBINSON
Flint, Michigan - June 21, 2011 - For several days the Flint Police Department has been investigating leads in connection with the Friday, June 17, 2011 homicide death of Attorney C. Frederick Robinson. Based on these investigations the department has identified a "person of interest."

Police are looking for Rene Williams. The 31 year old woman was last seen in the Flint area Sunday, June 19, 2011. Ms. Williams also answers to the name "Lucky." Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts is asked to call Flint Sergeant Brett Small at (810) 237-6901 or call Crime Stoppers at (800) 422-JAIL.

Just before 11:45 pm Friday, June 17, 2011 Flint police responded to a call at Attorney Robinson's home in the 1700 block of Brookside Drive. When they arrived they found the body of Robinson inside the home, an apparent victim of a shooting. Robinson was pronounced dead at the scene.

Prior to his death Robinson had been a civil rights activist and attorney in the City of Flint since the 1950's.
