Flint Police Officer Recovering After Being Injured By Suspect On A Call Flint, Michigan – August 3, 2010 –This morning just before 10:30AM Flint Police responded to a call of an assault at a home in the 300 block of East Robbie Lane. When police arrived and knocked on the door the suspect opened the door and charged officers with a sharp, knife like object. One of the officers was injured, another officer opened fire, shooting the suspect. Both the officer and the suspect are being treated at a local hospital for their injuries.
