Medical standards: Employment with the City of Flint is contingent on meeting the medical standards of the position. A pre-employment physical examination administered by the City is required. Any serious medical condition may be cause for disqualification.

Age: A birth certificate must be presented by a successful candidate at the time he/she is appointed to a position.

Social security cards: A social security card must be presented by a successful candidate at the time he/she is appointed to a position.
